The European Anglers Alliance (EAA) is pleased to present its newly redesigned website: www.eaa-europe.eu. The new platform provides anglers, policymakers and stakeholders with a clearer and more accessible overview of EAA’s work to promote recreational fisheries across Europe.
It also serves as a central hub for information on EU policies affecting recreational fishing and aims to strengthen communication with Europe’s angling community.
Visitors can access a wide range of information on the new website, including:
- About EAA – a dedicated section presenting the organisation’s structure and governance, its member organisations and partners across Europe, as well as the mission and vision guiding EAA’s work in representing and supporting the European recreational angling community.
- EU policy and advocacy work affecting recreational fishing, such as developments related to the Water Framework Directive, fisheries management, biodiversity policy and river restoration.
- News and updates on key political developments, events and initiatives from EAA and its members across Europe.
- Position papers and policy statements outlining the views of the European recreational angling community on major environmental and fisheries issues.
EAA President Mark Owen welcomes the launch of the new platform:
“With this new website, the European Anglers Alliance now has a clearer and more accessible platform to present our work at European level. By consolidating content and simplifying the website’s structure, it offers a more user-friendly experience while strengthening the visibility of Europe’s recreational anglers and highlighting the importance of protecting fish stocks, living rivers and aquatic ecosystems on which our sector depends.”
